About Christopher
I am currently a member of the technical team in the School of Engineering, Computing and Mathematics and am responsible for the Energy and Sustainability lab. This facility allows under-graduate and post-graduate students to come and put into practice the theory learnt in thermodynamics and fluid mechanics modules using a range of experimental tools. As part of this role, I am also responsible for all aspects of our closed return sub-sonic wind tunnel.  Prior to this I was a founding member of DesignFlow, an engineering design and analysis consultancy based within the School of Engineering Computing and Mathematics through which I was involved in a range of research and commercial projects, primarily involving CFD analysis. Typical projects included performance analysis of marine propellers, analysis of building aerodynamics and engine cooling system performance prediction.  Â
